Is it worth upgrading my gaming PC right now

Got a decent build from like 2020 that still runs most games fine but I'm eyeing some new stuff that's coming out. The problem is prices are still kind of crazy and I don't know if I should wait or just pull the trigger. Been saving up for this for a while. Anyone keep up with hardware prices better than me? Is there supposed to be a price drop coming or should I just go for it?
