Just Built a Workbench in My Garage - First Project Space Ever

Finally set up a real workbench in the garage. Nothing fancy, just heavy duty construction from Home Depot, mounted a peg board for tools, organized everything. My kids actually think it's cool now that it's not just scattered junk everywhere. My 6 year old wants to help me with projects now which is both awesome and dangerous lol. Got my first real project lined up - fixing the fence gate that's been broken for 2 years. Feels good to have a dedicated space to actually work on stuff instead of just throwing tools on the driveway.

Nothing fancy is the way to go. Solid workbench is all you need to actually get stuff done. Now you've got no excuses to build that shelf the kids keep asking about.

That's awesome man. I just grabbed some pegboard stuff myself - game changer for keeping everything visible instead of digging through drawers. Your Saturday projects are about to level up.
