Just started fishing again after like 15 years
My dad gave me his old tackle box and some of his fishing spots before he moved and honestly it's been therapeutic. Took my oldest out last weekend and he actually stayed interested for like 45 minutes which felt like a miracle. We didn't catch anything but that's not really the point. Anyone else get back into fishing as a dad? Feels like something I can actually do with the kids that doesn't cost a ton.
This is the kind of stuff that matters. Not just the fishing but the connection to your dad and his history. Those spots are gonna be special forever now.
