Man cave cooling situation

So my man cave gets absolutely brutal in the summer. Its in the basement but the ac doesnt reach down there much. Thinking about getting a window unit but dont want to run electricity all that way. Has anyone dealt with this? Miniature fridge and fans just arent cutting it anymore when me and the guys get together to watch games.

Get a window AC unit for down there. Seriously game changer for a basement man cave. Just run it on nights when you're actually going to be down there and it stays reasonable.

We have the same problem with our basement. Ended up putting in a mini split and it made all the difference. Expensive upfront but you'll actually want to spend time down there instead of just sweating through your shirt.

Fans are your friend. Get a couple of good box fans going and it helps way more than you'd think. Not a full solution but it buys you some comfort for way less money.
