Man cave finally coming together after 2 years

So I've been slowly working on finishing the basement and I finally got the pool table in there last week. Just a vintage Olhausen I found on Facebook Marketplace for cheap. Spent Saturday refelting it and getting it level. Added some bar stools and a little mini fridge. It's not much but it's mine. Been having the guys over for league night and they're all jealous. This is what I've been missing.

A pool table in the basement is the dream setup. How long did the whole process take? I've been wanting to carve out something like this but it feels like it keeps getting pushed to the back burner.

That's awesome man. A space that's just yours is so important. Pool table is the perfect centerpiece. What else are you putting down there?

Two years is actually pretty solid for a project like that. Did you do most of the work yourself or bring in help? And more importantly, are the kids banned from the man cave or fair game?
