Man cave is officially done and my wife hates it

Spent the last month converting the garage corner into a little setup with my old gaming PC, a mini fridge, and some comfortable seating. Even put up some neon signs. Wife walked in today and said it looks like a "sad sports bar" but honestly I love it. It's my space and I don't care. Got all my buddies over last night and they thought it was awesome. Already planning the poker table for next month.

The mini fridge is a solid move. Pro tip: offer to still make the morning smoothies in the kitchen with everyone else so she knows the space isn't replacing family time.

The man cave is sacred. My wife learned real quick that me having my space actually makes me a better husband because I'm not cranky all the time. Show her it's an investment in family happiness.

The real question is whether she hates the man cave or hates that you're spending more time in it now. My wife's cool with my setup as long as I'm not disappearing every night.

Show her the compromise angle. Mine finally came around when I explained it's basically my version of not going to the bar anymore. Cheaper and I'm still home.
