My dad passed down his old comic collection

Just wanted to share a win. My old man gave me his entire collection of Spider-Man comics from the 70s and 80s. Been organizing them in a climate controlled closet and man, some of these are in really good condition. Already looked up some values and I'm shocked. Not trying to sell them but it's cool to have something from him. Anyone else collecting anything that means more than just the monetary value? Looking to get them graded soon.

I got my dad's old Batman issues last year. It's such a cool way to connect with him over something he loved. You should definitely get them professionally graded if any are in good shape.

How many issues are we talking about here? The value could be pretty significant depending on the condition and years.

That's incredible man. Spider-Man from the 70s? Do you have that classic issue with the first appearance of the goblin? Those comics are basically gold at this point.

Your dad must trust you big time to hand over the whole collection. Are you planning to keep them in mint condition or actually read through them?
