Spent like 4 hours yesterday setting up my new pellet grill in the backyard. Did a test run with some chicken and it came out amazing. The temperature control is so precise compared to my old charcoal setup. Already planning a cookout for this Saturday. This is probably the best $800 I've spent in years not gonna lie.
This is the kind of project I can get behind. Nothing like a new tool to make Dad feel alive again.

This is me right now but with analyzing the software that controls the temperature curves. I built a spreadsheet tracking my cooks. My wife thinks I'm insane.
4 hours is rookie numbers, wait until you get obsessed with the smoke rings and temperature curves. Those pellet grills are dangerous in the best way possible.

The pellet grill life is real. Fair warning though, you're about to spend way more time in your backyard than you planned. Not complaining.
