Started Gaming Again After 10 Years

Got into gaming with my oldest. He wanted me to try some of his games and honestly I was skeptical but we bonded over it. Now we play some games together, nothing crazy, just stuff we both enjoy.

My wife thinks it's silly but she gets it. It's one more way we connect. Plus I'm way better at it than he is which feels good to admit. Between you and me it's a bit of an escape too. After a stressful day, gaming for an hour winds me down better than anything else.

That's so cool. My boys are soccer obsessed so we don't have much gaming time, but I love that you found something to bond over with your oldest. Those shared interests are gold.

Man, we take the kids hiking all the time and gaming just seemed like something I'd never get into. But if it gets you time with your son then that's what matters. Sounds like a great connection.
