Still trying to get into fantasy football and failing

Joined a league with some guys from work three years ago. Still have no idea what I'm doing. Keep drafting running backs too high or something. Last place two years in a row.

But I love the trash talk and the camaraderie. We all check our teams during lunch. Thinking about actually watching some games this year instead of just checking the score. Might finally have a shot at not finishing last lol

Same dude. I've been in a league for like four years and still basically just draft whoever has the coolest name. Fantasy football feels unnecessarily complicated.

Fantasy football is a rabbit hole if you let it be. You could spend hours on it or just check scores once a week. No shame in the casual approach with two kids.

Three years and still drafting blind basically? That's commitment to staying in the league. Have you at least stopped autodrafting running backs in the first round?

Honestly three years in and still struggling just means you haven't found your system yet. Or maybe fantasy football just isn't your thing and that's totally fine. Your buddies probably don't care as much as you think they do.

Fantasy football is one of those things that requires way more mental energy than new dads have available. I tried to care about waiver wire moves and just ended up ignoring my team for three weeks. Eventually I just let it die.

Your league mates probably love having you in there honestly. Keep em guessing with your draft strategy while you focus on the actual important stuff like keeping a tiny human alive.
