Taking the kids fishing this weekend

First time taking both boys out to the lake. They're 5 and 8 so I'm keeping expectations low, mostly just happy to see them excited about being outside. Packed snacks, sunscreen, and my patience. If we catch anything that's a bonus. Anyone else do family fishing trips?
