Took the boys out to the lake early this morning before anyone else was around. My oldest caught a 4 pound largemouth on his first cast. Not joking. First cast of the day. He was SO pumped and literally shaking. Those are the moments you fish for honestly. Didn't catch anything else all morning but didn't matter.
Did the oldest actually reel it in themselves or did you have to help? Either way sounds like a solid morning.
