Saved up for like 6 months and finally pulled the trigger on the Traeger pellet smoker. I've been smoking brisket and ribs every weekend and my neighbors hate me but in a good way I think. Started a little side thing where I smoke meats for people's parties. Might actually make some money back on it eventually. Who else is obsessed with their grill?

Six months of saving is solid discipline. I tried that approach once and lasted about three months before I just bought it anyway lol. How much did you end up spending? Thinking about taking the plunge myself.

That Traeger is a game changer. I got mine about a year ago and I've probably smoked something every other weekend since. Best part is how easy it is once you get the hang of it. What are you planning to smoke first?

Nothing brings people together like good smoked meat. My kids actually want to hang out with me now when I'm out there cooking instead of just staying inside. That's worth every penny right there.
