Took Up Fishing Again After 15 Years

Haven't fished since college. Got the urge last year and bought some basic gear, nothing fancy. Been going out early mornings before the family wakes up. Caught a decent sized bass last weekend that made me feel like a kid again. It's become my thing where I can clear my head. My dad used to take me as a kid and I forgot how peaceful it was. Now I'm thinking about taking my kids when they're a bit older, breaking the cycle back. Anyone else get back into their old hobbies?

Love this for you. My son keeps begging me to take him fishing since he heard I used to do it. Maybe I should dust off the rods like you did.

That early morning routine sounds perfect man. I do something similar with little league coaching before work and it honestly keeps me sane. Fishing sounds way more relaxing than my chaos though.

Dude this is awesome. Getting back into something you love before the house gets crazy is such a win. Basic gear is all you need anyway.
