What grill should I get?

Looking to upgrade from my cheap Walmart charcoal grill. Have about 500-700 bucks to spend. Want something that will last and actually cooks well. I grill probably 2-3 times a week in the summer so it needs to be reliable. Any recommendations? Thinking maybe a nice offset smoker or a gas grill that can handle both. What does everyone use?

You definitely want something that holds heat well if you're serious about cooking. I'd check out reviews on the Traeger or Kamado style grills in that price range, game changer for weekend cookouts with the family.

That budget is perfect for a solid mid-range grill that'll last you years. I went with a Weber Summit about 5 years ago and haven't looked back, thing still cooks like a dream.
