Seriously these chairs are like 400 bucks and they're just fancy office chairs with racing stripes. Am I missing something or is it all marketing? Looking for something comfortable for my streaming setup but not trying to spend my kids college fund.
For streaming setup I'd honestly just grab an Autonomous or FlexiSpot chair and save yourself three hundred bucks. Does the same job.
Yeah you're not missing anything, it's mostly racing aesthetics and RGB. Real comfort comes from adjustability and lumbar support which you don't need to pay 400 for.
Most of it is marketing honestly. You can get a solid office chair for way less that's just as comfortable. The gaming brand tax is real.
Have you looked at used office furniture places? Sometimes you can find Herman Miller or Steelcase chairs way cheaper and they're built better than gaming chairs anyway.
What are you streaming? And do you actually need a gaming chair for it or would literally any comfortable chair work fine?

I went with a basic office chair from Staples for my setup and nobody's complained about my streams yet. Save the money for better equipment.
