I'm not complaining because it's wholesome but my 5yo has watched every episode like 47 times. He wants to play Bluey games constantly now. Ngl some of those games are actually fun? The pool episode hits different when you're the one pretending to be the shark. My wife keeps asking why he watches it instead of other stuff but honestly the parents on that show are goals. This is not a criticism.
47 times is rookie numbers. We're at 'I can recite entire episodes' territory at our house. But honestly I respect it - there's way worse stuff he could be into
Bluey slaps actually. Like genuinely well-written show. The pool episode is peak - that's the one where they play the game where whoever holds their breath longest wins right?
My kid got obsessed too and at first I was like 'please no more' but then I realized Bluey's dad is actually a good role model? Like he plays WITH his kids, admits when he's wrong, says he loves them. Not the worst influence for our kids to see
The games ARE genuinely fun. That's what gets me. It's not mindless screen time - my 5yo is learning problem solving and I'm not hating every second. That's a win in my book
