Convinced my kids to clean their rooms by making it a competition

Told them whoever cleaned theirs first got to pick what we have for dinner. My 8yo moved like he was in fast forward. It was like watching the Tasmanian Devil in a t-shirt. Room was spotless in 15 minutes. Usually takes me threatening his life three times. Will definitely be using this trick again.
