Daughter made the soccer team

She didn't make it last year and was pretty devastated. We practiced in the backyard all spring and summer, ran drills, worked on her footwork. Got the email this morning that she's on the team. She's been smiling all day. Might be the proudest moment of my life honestly.

Yes! This is what weekends are for. Putting in the work with your kid and seeing it pay off like that, can't beat it.
