Daughter said I was her favorite

Completely out of nowhere my 6 year old told me I was her favorite parent. I know mom heard it and was laughing but whatever I'm riding this high for the next month. We had spent the morning making pancakes and watching cartoons so I guess I earned it. These little moments hit different when you're a dad.

Haha that's gold! My wife still brings up the time our oldest said I was his favorite. She didn't let me forget it for weeks. Enjoy the victory while it lasts, man.

That's awesome! Those moments are pure gold. My daughter dropped that on me last month and I've been riding that high ever since. The mom laugh in the background must have been priceless.
