Daughter told me I'm the best dad ever
Just happened like 20 minutes ago. She asked if we could build a blanket fort after dinner, we spent two hours in there with flashlights telling stories, and when we got out she just hugged me and said 'Dad you're the best'. I'm tearing up typing this. These moments go so fast.
That blanket fort is peak dad stuff right there. Those are the moments they actually remember, not the fancy outings. Two hours with flashlights and stories is exactly what it's all about.
