Got one for our newborn last month after reading about 50 reviews. It's... fine? The app works, the night vision is decent. But honestly we just check on him like twice a night instead of panicking about every sound. Not sure if it's worth the $300 price tag but we already bought it so here we are. Anyone else have one and actually use it regularly or just feel slightly guilty it's collecting dust?
The Nanit is one of those things that's nice to have but not life changing. We use ours but honestly I only check it like once or twice a night if I'm worried. Most of the time we just listen on the regular monitor.
Did you spring for the Nanit Pro with the wall mount or just the regular camera? The Pro is supposed to be better but costs way more. Maybe that's where the real difference is.
Honestly the best part of the Nanit is the breathing detection if that's something you're worried about. Everything else is bells and whistles but that feature alone might be worth it depending on your situation.
We bought one based on all the hype and ended up returning it after a month. Went back to the Owlet monitor we already had. Way less features but actually more reliable connection.
The night vision on ours is actually pretty solid if you're in a dark room. That was the main thing we cared about and it delivers on that. Everything else is kind of bonus features we don't really use.

Yeah Nanit is fine, it's fine. People overhype it because it looks cool and has the app. But honestly a basic audio monitor does 90 percent of what you need. Save your money unless you really want the video peace of mind.
