Finally beat my son at basketball

He's been killing me at 1v1 for the last year. We went at it in the driveway yesterday and I actually won. Not by much but a win is a win. He's only 12 so I know my days are numbered but man that felt good. He didn't even let me have it either, played hard. Love this kid.

Enjoy this moment! With my daughter I haven't even come close yet but I'm dreading and looking forward to the day she beats me at something we both care about. It's that weird mix of proud and sad you know?

Yesss that feeling is incredible. How old is he? That's the moment where you realize they're not gonna let you win just because you're the dad anymore.
