Spent like 20 minutes watching YouTube videos but I did it. My oldest stood there watching the whole time asking questions. Showed him how to use the wrench and everything. He kept saying 'you're so smart dad' which made it even better. Nothing fancy but man it felt good.
Nice work handling it yourself. Those moments where you fix something and your kid's right there learning how to do it too, that's what it's all about.
YouTube videos are a game changer for stuff like this. And having your oldest there watching and asking questions makes it even better. Win-win.

That's a solid dad move right there. Teaching him hands-on while fixing something around the house, can't beat that. He'll remember that.
