Finally fixed the sink without calling a plumber

YouTube saved my life today. Been putting off fixing the kitchen sink for 3 months and finally just watched a 15 minute video and did it myself. Cost me like $12 instead of $150. My kids watched the whole thing and my oldest asked if he could help next time. This is how it starts right? Teaching him to fix things?

YouTube is a game changer for this stuff. I've fixed more things in the last couple years by just searching than I ever did before. Plus you learn something and save a couple hundred bucks. Win-win.

Three months is nothing. I had a leaky faucet that I ignored for almost a year before finally biting the bullet. Feels good when you finally just do it though. Plumbers are expensive man.

Did you feel like a superhero when you actually got it working? That's the best feeling. Makes you think about all the other stuff around the house you could probably handle yourself.
