Finally got my son to ride his bike without training wheels

Been working on this all summer with my 6yo. Spent hours in the driveway holding the seat, running next to him, getting frustrated, taking breaks. Today something clicked. Held on for about 20 feet and then let go. He made it all the way to the mailbox without falling. The look on his face when he realized I wasn't holding him anymore. I got it on video and my wife cried. Best dad moment ever.

Yes! That moment when you let go and they keep pedaling is pure magic. My 6 year old just got there too and now she won't stop riding. All those hours in the driveway paid off.
