Finally potty trained my 3yo after 8 months of hell

We did it. After literal months of bribes, accidents, regression, and pure stubborness from my son, he finally asked to use the toilet on his own this morning. No prompting. Just walked over and did his business. Im not gonna jinx it but I think we might actually be past the point of no return here. Shout out to everyone who told me not to stress because 'he'll get it when hes ready' - you were right and it still took forever but here we are. Celebrating with an extra coffee today.

This deserves a trophy and a steak cooked on the grill. Seriously though, potty training is legitimately one of the hardest things we do as parents and nobody gives us credit for it. Well done.

Eight months?? Dude that's impressive. We're in month 5 of potty training hell right now and I'm starting to wonder if it'll ever happen. How'd you finally break through? Did he just click one day or was there a specific thing that worked?

YES! That's a major win right there. Celebrate that moment because those regressions are no joke. My oldest took forever too and then one day just decided he was done with diapers. You earned this one.
