We've been working on this for weeks in the driveway. Today he just took off and rode like 50 feet on his own before wobbling but not falling. The confidence boost in his face was priceless. I probably looked like an idiot running next to him but who cares. Best Saturday morning ever.

That 50 feet without training wheels is HUGE. My oldest just did this last month and I literally teared up watching him go down the street. You're gonna remember this moment forever, man.
YES. Nothing beats that moment. We had my son on training wheels for way longer than he needed because I was paranoid. Once they get it though, they REALLY get it. Did he eat pavement at all or was he just good from the jump?
