First Successful Family Road Trip

We drove 12 hours to see my parents and nobody cried, nobody fought, and all three kids napped at the same time. My wife and I were in shock. Stopped at this random diner and the owner gave my youngest a free sundae just because she was so polite. Those are the moments that make all the chaos worth it. Already planning our next trip.

Man, that's awesome. We're planning something similar to Colorado next summer and I'm already anxious about it. How old are your kids? Trying to figure out if we should wait another year.

This is the dream right here. We did a 10 hour drive last month and I think I aged 5 years. The naps were clutch though. Did you do anything special to make that happen or just got lucky with the timing?
