My wife texted me at 8:45am that I had 15 mins to get donuts for the school event. I was already at work 20 mins away. Hauled ass to the nearest shop, grabbed 3 boxes and made it with 2 minutes to spare. The kids went wild and my oldest told everyone I was a hero. Pretty sure I actually did break a traffic law but worth it.

Ha, I've been in that exact position. The scramble is real but your kid is gonna remember that you showed up. That's what matters.
