Found out my oldest got an A on the test he was stressing about

He studied so hard for this math test and was genuinely anxious about it. I tried to help where I could but mostly just tried to keep him calm and confident. Teacher emailed me today that he got an A. When I told him his face just lit up. He actually believed in himself enough to put in the work and it paid off. These moments where you see your kid do something hard and come out on top, man that's what it's all about. I'm so proud of him.

Dude that's huge! Getting an A after all that stress is a real confidence builder for him. You did the right thing just being in his corner through it.

That's awesome man, congrats to your son! The fact that you stayed calm and supportive instead of pushing too hard probably meant more than you realize. Kids pick up on that energy.
