Found the BEST hack for getting kids to eat vegetables
Stop calling them vegetables lmao. I started just putting random food on a plate and not announcing what it is. My picky 6yo will literally eat roasted broccoli if I don't tell him what it is first. Same with brussels sprouts. Once he's already eaten it and realized it was good, he's more open to it next time. It's dumb but it works. Probably won't work forever but enjoying this window while it lasts.
Wait so you're telling me the secret was just... not making it weird? My 5 year old has been rejecting anything green for months and I've been doing the whole "it's good for you" sales pitch every time.
This works until they get old enough to recognize things. My 7 year old called me out yesterday for trying to sneak zucchini onto her plate and now she's suspicious of everything.
