I know this is a small thing but usually I'm out before we finish the first page. Tonight I made it all the way through the whole book with the voices and everything. My 5 year old was cracking up at my funny voice for the bear character. He asked for another story and I don't think I've ever felt more accomplished.
This is exactly the kind of win that matters. Those bedtime stories are gold, and honestly doing the voices keeps you engaged. My kids still remember the character voices from months ago.
Nice work with the voices too, that's the extra effort that makes it special. My son's only 8 months but I'm already preparing myself for this battle.
That's huge! Staying awake through the whole thing is legit. My kids call me out immediately when my voice gets all monotone right before I check out, so I feel this one.

Dude I feel this. Bath time is literally a WWE match at our house every night and by story time I'm running on fumes. Getting through a whole book without nodding off deserves a medal.
