Got pooped on three times today and somehow it was the best day ever

My 4 month old has decided that my shoulder is his personal toilet apparently. But like, he smiled at me for the first time today? Like a real intentional smile not the gas smiles. Worth every bit of baby poop. This kid already has me completely wrapped around his finger.

Man this is the stuff right here. Those moments with a newborn where they look at you and smile make all the rough stuff worth it. Congrats on surviving the poop triple threat lol.

Four months is a whole different level. Just wait until they're crawling and you think the shoulder poops were the easy days. Enjoy the stage you're in, it goes fast.
