My 7 year old somehow found out about my promotion before I even had a chance to tell him. He made this drawing of me as a superhero with my company logo on my chest with the biggest smile. Wrote 'I'm so proud of you dad' with spelling help from his mom. That card means way more to me than the raise. Really puts things in perspective about what matters most.
Congrats on the promotion! And props to your 7 year old for being awesome. My kids do stuff like this sometimes and it's honestly better than any congratulations from adults.
