Guys, I'm still riding this high. Found out yesterday afternoon that I got the promotion I've been chasing for two years. Then I made it to my son's soccer game with five minutes to spare, watched him score the winning goal, and got to celebrate with him right away. We grabbed ice cream after and he told me I was the best dad ever. Life is good right now.
This is what we're all trying to pull off. The high of getting that career win and then getting to share it with your kid at the game is unbeatable. Well done man.
