Homemade pizza night was actually a hit

Made homemade pizza with the kids tonight. I fully expected them to reject it but they each ate 3 slices and asked when we could do it again. The 5yo even helped stretch the dough and was so proud of her "creation." My oldest told me I should open a restaurant. Pretty sure he was messing with me but I'll take the compliment. Might make this a weekly thing because honestly it was fun and way cheaper than ordering out.

That's awesome man, homemade pizza is such a win with kids. I do the same thing on weekends and my two always want to make it again the next week. Sounds like you nailed it with the 5yo!

Man that's encouraging to hear. I'm still in the stage where my little one can't eat much yet, but stuff like this gives me hope for the fun dad moments coming down the road.

Nice work getting them to eat 3 slices each, that's the dream right there. We should try this on one of our weekends out here in Boulder, could be a fun activity between hikes.
