Just watched my son hit his first home run

He's been playing baseball since spring and struggling really hard. Strike outs, grounders, the whole thing. Today at his game he connected and sent one sailing over the left fielder's head. The whole crowd was losing it and he ran those bases like he owned the field. I've never been more proud of anything in my life.
