Just watched my son hit his first home run in little league

This kid has been struggling with confidence and striking out a lot and we were just happy he wanted to keep trying. Today he connected and that ball went FLYING. The whole team was screaming, I was standing up yelling like an idiot, and he rounded those bases with the biggest smile on his face. We got ice cream after and he talked about nothing but that one swing the whole time. I'm still grinning thinking about it.

Nothing beats that feeling. I was at my oldest's soccer game last month when he finally scored after weeks of trying and man I got emotional in front of all the parents. You'll remember this forever.
