Kid got an A on his report card after struggling all year

My boy has dyslexia and reading has been really tough for him. He's been working with a tutor since January and honestly there were times where we both felt discouraged. Report came home today and he got an A in reading for the first time ever. He got really quiet when he saw it, then just hugged me without saying anything. I'm tearing up thinking about how hard he worked. Proud doesn't even cover it.

Man, that's a big W right there. Working with a tutor takes real commitment from both of you, and an A after struggling shows your son has some serious determination. Definitely worth celebrating.

That's huge man, seriously congrats to your boy. Dyslexia is no joke and the fact he stuck with the tutoring all year shows real grit. Those grades are earned, he should be really proud of himself.

This is awesome. I've got one kid and I know how much wins like this matter when they've been working that hard. All those sessions paid off and he proved he could do it. That confidence is going to help him going forward.
