They were literally just Bisquick pancakes from a box with chocolate chips. But apparently that's all it takes. She gave me a huge hug and everything. I'm keeping this in my back pocket for when I inevitably mess something up later.

Haha I got the same compliment last month for literally just putting chocolate chips in regular pancakes. That's when I realized my kids don't care about my culinary skills, they just care that I'm there making breakfast with them.
