My 3yo actually went down for naptime without a fight today

It happened. I don't know how. I just offered him a choice between his dinosaur blanket or his bear blanket and he picked the bear, walked himself to his room, and went to sleep. My wife thinks I made it up. I have 90 minutes of free time right now and I'm not even sure what to do with myself. 10/10 experience would recommend.

The choice between two options trick is amazing. My 3yo fell for it too and now naptime is actually peaceful instead of a battle.

How long did he actually stay down? I've had my 3yo go to bed easily but then pop back up 20 minutes later.
