My 4 year old said I was her favorite person today

Just needed to share this somewhere. She was having a rough morning and I made her laugh by doing my dumb dinosaur impression. She hugged me and said 'Daddy, you're my favorite person in the whole world.' Man, these moments make all the hard stuff worth it.

That's awesome man. Those moments are why we do this. My daughter just told me I was silly yesterday and I felt like I won the lottery. Enjoy it.

The morning rough patches are the real test and you passed. She'll remember that her dad made her laugh when things were hard. That's the stuff that actually matters.
