My 4 year old said something that melted my heart

This morning my little guy looked at me while I was making breakfast and said 'Daddy you're the strongest and the nicest.' No context, no prompt. Just out of nowhere. I legit got teary eyed. I know he's young and won't remember saying it but I'm gonna remember it forever. These are the moments that matter.

That's the kind of morning that makes everything else fade away. He's watching how you move through the day and he sees it. Cherish that one.

Oh man, that hits different. My four year old comes out with stuff like that and it makes all the chaos worth it. Those random unprompted compliments are pure gold as a dad.
