We were on the way to school this morning and he just randomly said 'Daddy you're my best friend in the whole world.' Dude I almost cried at a red light. Made my entire week honestly.
That's everything right there. Forget the wins at work or whatever, this is the stuff that matters. Cherish it because they grow so fast.
Write that down somewhere or remember it really well because 4 year olds say the most real things and he means it completely. You're his hero and nothing compares to that.
Man that hits different. I get this stuff all the time at the park with my son and it never gets old. Those random moments are what it's all about right there.
This is gold. My daughter is 7 and still tells me I'm her best friend sometimes. Don't take it for granted, these years go quick.

Those moments hit different man. My youngest said something similar a few months ago and I literally had to turn away so he wouldn't see me getting emotional. Cherish that.
