Man that hits different. Those random moments of validation from your kid are worth more than anything.
My 5yo did this once when I made him a sandwich and I genuinely teared up. It's the little things.
The best part is he probably has no idea how much that comment just made your whole week. Kids are honest like that.

This is why we do this. Save this memory because there will be days when he's a teenager and thinks nothing you do is right.
Four year olds are the best. They just say what they think. Enjoy this phase because it changes.
