FINALLY! We've been working on this for like three months. Today he just took off down the driveway and didn't even realize they were off at first. My wife got video and I'm still watching it like an idiot with the biggest smile on my face. He's so proud of himself and honestly I'm maybe more proud. These little moments are everything man.
Now comes the fun part of him zooming around the neighborhood and you having a mild heart attack every time. Enjoy the victory though, you earned it.
Dude, congrats! Those milestone moments are what make all the repetition worth it. He's probably going to want to ride that bike everywhere now.
This is such a huge win. My daughter took forever to get there too, and now I can barely keep up with her on the street. Enjoy watching him discover a whole new world of independence.
