My 5yo finally tied his shoes without help

Been working with him on this for months and today he just did it. Got both shoes tied and they stayed tied through the whole soccer game. Watched him walk around so proud of himself. These little wins hit different man.

Dude that's awesome. My kid just got there too and now I don't have to deal with one less thing before we leave the house. Small victory but genuinely life changing.

The patience it takes to let them figure it out instead of just doing it yourself. That's solid parenting right there. Both shoes staying tied is the real achievement.
