My 5yo helped me fix the toilet and actually contributed
Okay so the thing was clogged and instead of trying to keep him out of it, I just showed him what was happening. Explained the parts, let him help turn the valve, the whole thing. He was SO INTO IT. Felt like a real mechanic lol. When the water finally went down he started cheering. Now he keeps asking if anything else needs fixing. Is this how you create a handy kid or am I getting lucky? Either way it was the best 30 minutes we've had in weeks.
Now the real test is whether he'll help next time without you asking or if this was a one time thing haha
