This kid was terrified of everything last year. Wouldn't go to birthday parties, cried at the first soccer practice. But this season he actually RAN after the ball and scored a goal. When I picked him up today he couldn't stop talking about it. Proud dad moment for sure.
This is awesome to see. With four kids I've learned that sometimes they just need that one season to build confidence. Bet he's gonna surprise you even more next year now that he knows he can do it.
Man that's the kind of win that makes all the early morning stuff worth it. My kid's still figuring out his fears but seeing your son go from crying at practice to actually running out there is inspiring.
